The only school on Okinawa that teaches the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) curriculum taught by a RAD Registered Teacher. Okinawa City Ballet School provides a supportive learning environment in which individual attention and a positive approach helps students fulfill their potential as dancers. The school's curriculum follows the syllabus of the Royal Academy of Dance (London, England). Founded in 1920 to improve the standard of teaching, RAD continues to this day to offer students and teachers a carefully structured program designed to produce a standard of technique.


Student's first introduction to ballet where they learn gracefulness, appreciation of music and use their imagination while demonstrating creative movement.
